Jeremy Hellickson DFS Watch July 20
On Wednesday, we have The Marlins Wei-Yin Chen (5-3) as the probable starter. He allowed four runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five over six innings, but received no decision Friday at the Cardinals. Philadelphia’s starters have hit 19 in 62 at bats with two home runs.
But who we really like here and someone probably off the radar is the Phillies Jeremy Hellickson, especially with the Phillies playing better than .500 ball over the past month.
Tigers vs. Blue Jays: Hitting Bonanza This Series?
In general the lineups for both Detroit and Toronto should be considered throughout the four-game series July 7 to 10. That’s because the OVER was 16-5-1 in the last 22 meetings entering Thursday.
Toronto had scored five or more runs in seven of their last ten games. Detroit has done so in six of their last ten games. Do the math and, while we feel the Game Two total is a little high at 10, it’s still worth taking.
Hisashi Iwakuma .149 vs. Baltimore Roster
For your DFS roster on Sunday be sure to consider Hisashi Iwakuma, who has allowed a mere 10 hits off of 67 at bats versus the current Baltimore roster, most of whom are currently in a funk.
Iwakuma (7-6) gave up two runs on six hits and a walk with four strikeouts over 6.2 innings in a win Tuesday over the Pirates. (Tue Jun 28)
Iwakuma didn't allow a home run Tuesday night -- he had allowed 17 in his first 15 starts of the season. He has allowed two against this current Orioles roster.
He should be priced around $6800.

Shelby Miller Daily Fantasy MLB Profile – July 1
Shelby Miller of the Arizona Diamondbacks appears to be an excellent option Friday versus the San Francisco Giants when it comes to your Daily Fantasy Major League Baseball roster.
The value is fantastic at $7000. Miller (2-7, 6.79) has managed to allow a mere 15 hits off of 81 at bats versus this current Giants lineup with a single home run during this span.
Going Against Chris Young Thursday
Chris Young (2-7) allowed seven runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out two over 2.1 innings to take the loss Saturday against the Astros.
And here he is facing the St. Louis Cardinals, a team whose roster has managed to hit 22 of 76 at bats against him with 5 home runs.
The primary culprits: Matt Holliday is one. He’s hit 7 of 24 against him with four extra base hits and is averaging .292 over the past seven days coming into this game.
Holliday homered, a two-run shot, in a 2-for-4 game in Monday's loss to Kansas City.
White Sox-Twins Wednesday Night Game DFS Picks
The OVER in this series is 14-6-1 in the last 21 played in Chicago and oddsmakers had the total set at 9.5, perhaps with good reason.
White Sox probable starter James Shields has permitted 45 hits off of 137 at bats versus the current Twins roster, including 15 extra base hits and 5 home runs.
Minnesota’s Ricky Nolasco has allowed 40 hits on 107 at bats versus the current White Sox roster.
Is Zack Greinke Worth the Gamble?
Arizona is not a terrible team this season (36-42) and Zack Greinke is pitching quite well ((10-3, 3.61), especially on a team that is below the .500 mark.
Greinke is so good that the Diamondbacks are a -220 home favorite against Philadelphia Tuesday with a total of 8.
He’s priced anywhere from $10K to $11K at either DraftKings or FanDuel.
Dallas Mavs Daily Fantasy Player Value With Key Players Out
Dallas point guard Deron Williams and power forward Dirk Nowitzki are expected to be out both Sunday and Monday, leading to a boost in value for a number of players whose salaries will likely stay relatively stable.
J.J. Barea is the obvious player to target first in these games, having just scored 21 points with five triples the other night against Golden State. More importantly Barea is priced at $4.3K. He was going up against a fantasy-friendly Kings team Sunday.
Russell Westbrook DFS Value: 3 More Triple-Doubles Breaks Magic’s Record
The Oklahoma Thunder’s Russell Westbrook needs only three more triple-doubles in order to break the record of Magic Johnson.
He had his 15th triple-double of the season in the Thunder’s Tuesday night win over Houston: 11-11-13. This ties Michael Jordan's 15 in 1988-89, two off of Magic Johnson's record.
The Daily Fantasy NBA juggernaut Westbrook is averaging 23.7 and 10.5 every game. Rebounds are the bigger issue, and he's grabbing 7.7 per game.
Westbrook’s current salary as of March 23, 2016 at both DraftKings and FanDuel was coming in at $10600.
